Garlic Veggy Soup to keep ya trim and healthy

We all know the benefits of garlic during cold and flu season but its not very tasty in large doses so i came up with a way that (i think) is pretty tasty and low in calories.

This is my staple. Monday - Thursday I have it for lunch, especially during cold and flu season.

Its very simple -

1. One Can of Chunky Vegetable Soup
2. 1/4 head of garlic, not cloves but 1/4 of the whole garlic
3. Oregano
4. White Pepper
5. Chopped Cabbage
6. Chopped Carrots

Its pretty harsh with all the garlic in there but its cheap and easy. I've come to like the spiciness. Start by heating up the can of soup and whilst it warms clean and chop the carrots, cabbage and garlic, by the time I'm done (I'm not a quick chopper) the soup is bubbling a little. I then add cabbage, carrots, oregano and white pepper and stir it up some while it finishes heating. I then remove the soup from the heat, toss in the garlic, stir and eat...

Like i said earlier, i eat it for lunch and it saves money and calories. Its pretty easy, if i can do it, I'm not a good cook. So give it a try and let me know what extras you added to make it tastier. Sometimes I add crab meat to it and it is the best soup I've ever tasted.
